opening - looking back and looking forward

The opening remarks looked back to the 1998 OECD Ministerial Conference on Electronic Commerce, which was also held in Ottawa.  In just that past stretch of roughly ten years, we have come a long way, Google searching and Internet transactions have become common.  Given the great progress we have made in the past 10 years, what will the next 10 hold?

Side note: in addition to the live webcast, there will be a delayed transcript available within hours of the presentations.  Accordingly, I see my blogging role as more analytical and reflective, as well as in providing links to relevant content elsewhere on the web.

Would it be possible to have a list of the speakers as individual posts so we can post comments or ideas based on specific things they say?
