Anne Bucher

Anne Bucher trained as an PhD economist and a statistician in Paris. She joined the Commission in 1983 and worked in various fields of EU policies. In the last 7 years, she has headed teams responsible for the evaluation of employment policies and economic analysis of EU tax policy. She joined DG Information Society in March 2004 to take over responsibility of i2010 and policy planning.
